Tropicana Nights: Free Salsa Dance Lessons & DJ Night | SF
Tropicana Tuesdays bring free salsa dance lessons and “Quality Latin Bass” to Pop’s Bar in San Francisco from January 6 through March 24, 2015.
Local DJs, such as El Kool Kyle, Stepwise, Mr. Lucky, J Boogie and more spin the latest Latino music genres, and respecting the classics with Salsa, Latin House, Latin HipHop, Moombahton, DubCumbia, Merengue, Bachata and Dancehall. Come learn to freestyle salsa dance and perhaps even speak some Spanish.
Tropicana Nights create space for cultural diversity and environmental awareness. Community and music can do a lot of great positive impact in society. The event is free, but a percentage of donated funds from these events go towards Collective Wave, a permaculture project in Ecuador.
