The Community Living Campaign’s 2026 Community Transportation Fair takes place Friday, September 18, from 10 a.m. to noon at Daring Faith Church, 355 Ocean Ave. at San Jose Ave., directly across from the Balboa BART Station.
Our goal is simple: bring transportation providers and riders together.
Transportation providers will have an opportunity to share updates, answer questions and explain the services they offer. Riders can learn about the many transportation options available to them—and gain the confidence to travel safely, comfortably and independently.
Advocacy groups will also be on hand to answer questions about the SFMTA’s unprecedented financial crisis, which could have a major impact on Muni service.
SFMTA currently faces a $307 million budget deficit, projected to grow to $430 million by 2030. Much of the shortfall is the result of one-time pandemic relief funding from federal, state and regional sources coming to an end. Without additional funding, SFMTA will need to make significant cuts to Muni service and programs.
What does this mean for riders? What transportation options are available? What changes might be coming?Come to the Transportation Fair, ask questions and get the information you need to keep getting where you need to go.
