Free Soup on Tuesdays at Polk Street
El Lopo located at 1327 Polk Street presents “Soupy Tuesdays” They’ll be putting on a pot of something comforting and nourishing for anyone who wants some. It’s free and the only catch is that you have to smile. They offer different soup each week. For last week they had chickpeas, wheat berries, and potatoes, seasoned with sage, orange peel, saffron, and ham bones. Available till 7 pm or until it’s gone.
