Event Details

Friends of the Urban Forest invites you on a walking tour of the trees of the San Francisco Zoo led by Steve Beach, the Zoo’s director of operations and former horticulture manager.

On the tour, you’ll see as many as 100 different species of trees, some native, some naturalized and some exotic. Some are grown as animal food, while others are toxic.

The event is completely free and Zoo admission fee is not required (but you won’t be able to stay and visit the zoo afterwards).
