Oakland Veg invites the local community to a free vegan BBQ at Mosswood Park to enjoy free veggie dogs and burgers, mingle with other food-loving locals, and learn about the benefits of plant-based foods for your health and the environment.
This fourth annual vegan BBQ will feature goodies from local favorite Tofurky, Beanfields Snacks, Dang Foods, Luke’s Organic, Califia Farms, Hampton Creek and more.
Oakland Veg organizes Oakland Veg Week in the spring and events all year long. The BBQ is geared to Oakland Veg members, but anyone can join for free on the spot.
If you’re already veg, please consider bringing a vegan dish to share (along with a list of the ingredients), so they can save the free samples for your veg-curious friends.
