Take a walk through Disneyland, Fort Mason, and Pier 9 without ever leaving downtown SF! The Autodesk Gallery (1 Market St) will host a Virtual Reality tour powered by ReCap. Using VR goggles, you’ll will be able to meander around the gallery experiencing the virtual reality found within the screen of your smart phone (Android and iPhone) using reality capture technology.
The activity is totally free, but supplies are limited and it will be first come first served, during the Autodesk Gallery public hours from 10 am to 5 pm on Friday, July 24, 2015.
You’ll assemble the cardboard VR goggles, go to a website on your smartphone, insert the phone into the goggles, and experience a virtual reality tour of Disneyland (mainly around the Sorcerer’s Hat/Main Street USA) the Autodesk Workshop at Pier 9, and Fort Mason (interior, exterior, and gallery). Staff will guide you through each step.
