Drugs, Thugs, Crimps & Pimps: Historic Walking Tour | SF

Join Foot Fun walking tours for a trip through the dark underbelly of San Francisco’s past.

Free, but an RSVP is required by email to: kevin@foottours.com to receive the meet-up location. Space is limited.

This fun and fact-filled walking tour explores sin-tillating tales from the Barbary Coast era, full of ruthless shanghaiers, corrupt crimps, opium dens, brothels, and the like.

The guide is giving a free “dress rehearsal” performance of this tour (a $30 value). They need a few extra bodies, so he can practice with a full audience. They’d also love your feedback, so there will be a quick survey after the tour.

Have you ever wondered where exactly the Barbary Coast was? Have you ever wondered where the term “shanghaied” came from? Have you ever wondered what the heck a “crimp” is?

These questions and many more will be answered on December 21, 2013 during the free “Drugs, Thugs, Crimps and Pimps” tour. Spend 2 hours with an informative guide walking the streets of Jackson Square and Chinatown learning more about San Francisco history then you ever thought possible.

Join the guide on Saturday December 21, 2013 at either 10 am or 1 pm. Tours run rain or shine and space is limited. RSVP Kevin at kevin@foottours.com
