Free After Work Stitch-In | SF

Come and join one of our regular free Stitch-Ins and work on your embroidery, knitting, crocheting, tatting, or even mending. Feel free to bring food to eat while you stitch or make a cup of tea or coffee in our kitchen.

Here at SNAD, we have a beautiful well lit space to work in, a library of over 3,000 books on needlework and a small design room with a light box, rulers, colored pencils etc. for you to use. We also have an exhibition space and a small shop of embroidery supplies and secondhand books on site.

San Francisco School of Needlework and Design (SNAD) is a non-profit school that teaches hand embroidery. Please note – there is no formal instruction at our Free Stitch-Ins.
