Event Details

Freedom from Training Wheels is a great way to get kids riding without training wheels! This class is for children ages 2-5. We will have pedal bikes, balance bikes, and helmets available for your little one to use (and we will be sanitizing them between students). If you have your own, feel free to bring it! If you want to start practicing at home, check out our Parent Tip Sheet with step-by-step instructions.

You can register below for one of four time slots. Due to COVID-19 safety protocols, pre-registration is required:
9:30-10:30
11:00-12:00
1:00-2:00
2:30-3:30

A parent/caregiver must stay with their child for the duration of the class.

This class will be held as part of Shared Schoolyards.

COVID-19 protocols: We will be following the protocols laid out by SFDPH during this class, including face coverings, social distancing, sanitizing of bikes and helmets between uses, and reduced class sizes. Masks, gloves, wipes, and hand sanitizer will be available at the class.

Please contact Eliana Marcus-Tyler (eliana@sfbike.org/‪415-409-9416‬) with any questions about this program.

Disclaimer: Please double check event information with the event organizer as events can be canceled, details can change after they are added to our calendar, and errors do occur.
