Event Details

Freespace Pop-Up Community Center

Freespace is a pop-up community center focused on hacking the civic experience. It is hosted in a 14,000 sqft warehouse in S0Ma, San Francisco, envisioned and implemented entirely by you.

Freespace was originally just a one month project, but it was extended to two months thanks to successful Indiegogo campaign. They’re now open periodically (check their schedule). They host a wide array of events and projects like classes, music, art, silent discos, yoga, a free bikeshare, community engagement and field trips, and more than a few silly costumes.

Stuff Swap | Freespace Pop-Up Community Center

Clean out your closets and bring your no-longer-wanted items (clothing, books, toys, knickknacks, etc.) to trade with others or just come and grab other people’s stuff.

Anything left over will be donated to St. Anthony’s, and will be used by youth designing costumes to give to the Boys and Girls Club in the Tenderloin.
