The overwhelming evidence of the IPBES Global Assessment (the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services) shows that World’s biodiversity is under assault with 1,000,000 species threatened with extinction.

In this context, the French Consulate in San Francisco, the Presidio of San Francisco with the support of Bank of the West are co-presenting a free and open to all panel with French and American leading experts to discuss the necessary steps we need to take to preserve biodiversity in urban areas!

This is a unique opportunity to meet among other, Anne Larigauderie, the top executive who has led the effort to produce the IPBES report on Biodiversity as well as:

JEAN-FRANCOIS SILVAIN
President of the Foundation for Research in Biodiversity (FRB)

LEWIS STRINGER
Associate Director of Natural Resources at the Presidio Trust
