Frida’s 110th Birthday Tianguis: Live Music & Theatrical Performance | Berkeley

Come celebrate Frida Kahlo’s 110th birthday by supporting strong womxn artists & artisans at Frida’s Birthday Tianguis. A “tianguis” is a traditional open air market and comes from the Nahuatl language of the Aztecs, which means “market”.

This is a free event. Bring cash for vendors.

In addition to the Tianguis, there will be a special theatrical & musical performance to commemorate Frida Kahlo’s life: “Frida Kahlo Tree of Life” at  8 pm in the theater.
