Event Details

Join the local Israeli community at the Oshman Family JCC as they celebrate Tu B’Av, the Jewish holiday of love, from 4-7 pm on Friday, July 19, 2013.

This fun and festive afternoon includes an Israeli style Kabbalat Shabbat, a jazz concert by Surfjam, a special performance with Tal Goldstein and Sigal Vardi, art and jewelry vendors, a specialty ice cream vendor, decorating a sculpture representing love, and an Israeli Library $1 book sale.

There will be kids activities (from $1-3 each) like a bounce house, gaga pit, and crafts such as decorating muffins, creating heart mobiles, sand art, cutting out heart shapes and flowers, blowing bubbles, and face painting.
