Friday Night DSF Art Show & DJ Party: “Unearthed” | Lower Haight

DSF  will be hosting an art show with the talented works of Renee Castro on Friday, May 2, 2014.

Born in Oakland, Castro’s heritage stems from the Ohlone Native American tribe. Her background serves as inspiration for much of her art, especially her subjects’ clothing and their deeply-rooted connections to the natural world. Her other influences for the work she creates include Mexican and Spanish folklore, broken-hearted femme fatales, disheveled muses, and erotic heroines.

Please join for amazing artwork, complimentary drinks (boozy and non-alcoholic), and DJ Oli spinning soul and ’90s hip-hop.
