British author Geoff Dyer is a great film lover and will discuss his new book about Andrei Tarkovsky’s film Stalker, entitled Zona – A Book About a Film About a Journey to a Room.
Zona was published last month and has received rave reviews in the UK.
On Thursday, March 15 at 6:30pm at the Cerrito Theatre in El Cerrito, the Telluride Film Festival will host a reading and book signing event with Dyer where the book will be on sale.
The Cerrito has food and drinks (including wine and beer) for sale, and after the reading there will be a reception catered by Chez Panisse.
The event is free and open to the public. No advance tickets will be available.
