Event Details

Join Geographer for a special accoustic set in honor of the release of Myth, out on Modern Art Records on the day of the in-store.

The San Francisco trio consists of vocalist, synth mastermind, and guitarist Mike Deni, cellist Nathan Blaz, and drummer Brian Ostreicher, and explores new sonic elementsG to the band’s already commanding sound.

The band’s live sound can either spontaneously make a crowd get wild on the dance floor, or completely stand still-enraptured by the music.

Myth comes on the heels of recent success including touring nationally with Stars and Ladytron, and showcasing at major music festivals Noise Pop and the main stage at Treasure Island Music Festival in 2011. Geographer also garnered praise for their shows at SXSW from Huffington Post as one of the “Buzz Bands of SXSW” and “Bands You SHOULD See at SXSW.”
