Georgianna’s “melody-driven instrumental music” was written during the height of the pandemic in 2020-2021, when performing and rehearsing were not possible. Narrative and flowing, this is listener-friendly music that straddles the space between cool jazz and popular music genres. The album EMBRACE is available now on Bandcamp.
Georgianna – on soprano, alto and baritone saxophones – is joined by an all acoustic ensemble featuring Renaye Brown (percussion), Ted Burik (bass), Susanne DiVincenzo (bass), Greg German (drums), Gaea Schell (piano) and an eclectic list of guest soloists including Nancy Bien (cello), Dave Casini (vibraphone), Helena Jack (flugelhorn), Michele Walther (violin) and Laura Austin Wiley (flute) .
Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door general admission; $15 for students/low-income individuals. Children under 12 are free. Advance tickets are available at the link below, or you may purchase your tickets at the door the night of the show. Doors open one half hour before show time. Cash/Venmo accepted at the door.
