Escapist Comics in Berkeley hosts their two-day Giant-Size Comic Book Warehouse Sale

They’ve got heaps of comic books and graphic novels backstocked at a warehouse in North Berkeley. Look for thousands of comic books from DC, Marvel, Image, Boom!, IDW and other publishers of fine word-ballooned stories.
