Creat gifts and gift components for No Spectators: The Art of Burning Man. Join Gift-o-Matic, an interactive creation experience at the Oakland Museum of California and part of the No Spectators: The Art of Burning Man exhibition.

Gift-o-Matic isn’t just about gifts as things. It is also about the gift of an experience. Use a variety of tools and art supplies including lasers, paints, scissors, hand tools, inks, glues, and stains. Activities may include:

– Making Gifts (necklaces, buttons, etc.)
– Dying and coloring pendants Sketching original art
– Scanning and preparing art for laser cutting
– Preparing gift-making supplies like necklace cords, pendants, and magazines
– Building dimensional signage for the Gift-o-Matic environment – Laser cutting pendants

Feel free to drop in for 30 min. or for the whole time. Dial-in instructions on the door.
