This event is curated by the Bay Area Science Festival as part of their year-round calendar of science events.
The festival takes place each fall with 10 days of science and technology lectures, games, exhibits, workshops and hands-on activities all over the Bay Area.

Human-induced global warming is causing numerous problems such as coastal flooding and extreme weather. Lori Lai will discuss how these climate changes are likely to increase infection rates of mosquito-borne diseases such as West Nile virus and Dengue fever by creating more mosquito-friendly habitats.
