Second Saturday Art & Music Walk | Oakland’s Golden Gate Dist.

The Golden Gate Neighborhood of North Oakland is hosting a monthly Second Saturdays event with art, music, food, classes and family-friendly activities.

They’re focusing on the DIY character of the neighborhood, so come out and see what you can add to the mix.

Official activities run from noon until 4 pm, but many sites are open longer. Check individual listings for times and specifics.

This month’s Second Saturday sites:
A Verb for Keeping Warm, Actual Cafe, Chile Jalapeño Taqueria, The Collection Agency art & design, Destiny Arts, Farley’s on 65th, Grease Diner, House of rosenberg, James and The Giant Cupcake, The Pallet Space, Red Door Pizza, Studio Naga, Take 5 Cafe & Gallery, Trim on San Pablo, Victory Burger, Whoop! Hula Hoops, Golden Gate Supermarket, & San Pablo Flea Market

Also, there will be an open house at 5516 San Pablo  – the site of a proposed new bar.
