Want to hear some good news? Good Omen, the Bay Area’s most beloved handmade market, is back in business for its seventh year on Saturday, October 13, 2019
This time, the Good Omen crew will be at a new location: Oakland’s Humanist Hall, where, by popular demand, they will conjure a one-day gathering that excites all the senses. With a whopping 85+ makers, this uniquely Oakland market is the kind of thing you want to stash a few hours and some cash for, because the community behind and surrounding Good Omen is what makes it stand out as a colorful, funky and impressive panorama of the people in the Bay Area who make the world around us more beautiful with their own two hands.
Locavores can rejoice knowing that Good Omen is partnering with nearby beer-masters Ale Industries & Boochman Kombucha (among others) to whet your whistle, and feeding you with local bites from pop-ups Sup, Street Food and Third Eye Soul Kitchen.
To top it all off, 25% of all bar proceeds will go to nearby DIY collective Rock Paper Scissors. So sip a local refreshment, grab a snack, and meet a local maker while you pore over ceramics, home decor, clothing, jewelry, tinctures, bath and body products, healing services, plants, prints, zines, tarot readings and much much more.
And don’t forget to wear your dancing shoes so you can saunter around the flower garden with fresh vinyl vibes from the always-luscious Late Feelings DJ crew.
