Event Details

Join Letterform Archive at the opening of its third exhibition, a celebration of 1990s graffiti culture.

Subscription to Mischief: Graffiti Zines of the 1990s launches on May 6, 2023, and you’re invited to join us.

The Archive’s third gallery exhibition came out of a desire to celebrate graffiti zines, which created a community for writers and an avenue for practitioners to become documentarians of their own culture. This collaboration between co-curators Greg Lamarche, David Villorente, Kel Troughton, and Letterform Archive’s own Kate Long Stellar is a time capsule of graffiti letterforms, and showcases zines as an important part of independent publishing history.

In addition to the exhibition, we’ll provide refreshments as well as fresh tunes spun by DJ Bukue One, and, as always, great conversations with Letterform Archive’s board and team. We look forward to seeing you on Saturday, May 6!
