Event Details

The San Francisco Zoo and Golden Gate Audubon are joining forces to bring you a free family bird walk within the zoo. Learn how to identify and count local and visiting birds.

Free, but an RSVP is required.

Meet at front entrance at 8:30 am. The count will end at 10 am but participants are invited to stay for half-price admission when the zoo officially opens.
Binoculars, guides, snacks and coffee are provided. Dress warmly in layers. Free parking available in the main lot.

This local event is part of a nationwide weekend of counting birds as citizen scientists.
