Taste some tasty tomatillos and pico de gallo at the Great Downtown Salsa Taste Off during the Downtown San Jose Farmers’ Market on Friday, August 12.
Submit your spiciest salsa recipe online or by emailing aanderson@sjdowntown.com by the Monday, August 8 deadline, and potentially have your recipe prepared by professionals and judged to see who truly has the hottest jalapenos out there.
No worries though if you’re not so good at making salsa, but just love eating it, because samples made from the top recipes will be available for tasting, so just stop by San Pedro Square to see which batch will burn up your mouth and be crowned “Best in Show.”
