From the people who brought you the X-mas Strikes Back comedy show comes Groundhog’s Eve, the day before our fates are all decided by the shadow of a tiny land mammal.

What better way to celebrate the coming sun or approaching winter than with a free comedy show at 50 Mason Social House?

FunCheap Tip: Mention FunCheapSF at the end of the comedy show and you’ll get to stay for the music for free. The evening features Jrod Indigo, Ghost Town Jenny and DJ Justin Time.

Comedy Lineup: February 1, 2013

Host: Varun Rajan, Purple Onion, Punchline. Varun is a young up and coming comic from the Bay Area who is making waves and impressing audiences wherever he goes.

Feature: Matt Rath, Sketchfest 2013, Dragon Viper Cobra. Matt Rath is one of the more energetic and passionate comedians in the bay area scene, starring in an improv troupe called Dragon Viper Cobra, and a sketch troupe known as Don’t Watch This Show: Live

Headliner: Stroy Moyd, Sketchfest 2013, #Swag. Stroy is a comedy veteran who runs a very successful comedy show in San Francisco, and recently featured for Hannibal Buress. His unique style and hilarious point of view makes him a fan favorite wherever he goes.
