Event Details

Join San Francisco Bay Guardian culture editor Caitlin Donohue for a discussion about San Francisco’s role in the global women’s movement, following an abridged screening of the documentary of ‘Half the Sky.’

Based on a book by New York Times journalist Nicholas Kristhof, this documentary roams across 10 countries, deploying the talents of Hollywood actresses Gabrielle Union, Eva Mendes, Diane Lane, Meg Ryan, Olivia Wilde and America Ferrara to create a panoramic look at global women’s issues today.

Come at 6:30 pm for a cash bar and a chance to network with other conscious citizenry.

Free, but an RSVP  is required due to limited seating.
