Gypsy Jazz at the de Young | Golden Gate Park

Fiesta Friday Nights at the de Young presents live Gypsy jazz. The all-acoustic Gonzalo Bergara Quartet plays a modern variant of 1930s Django Reinhardt–inspired Gypsy jazz. Live concert is in Wisley Court at 6:00pm.

Also hands on art making and free lecture in Koret Auditorium. This week: You can create “Colorful Abstractions” considering the elements of printed imagery, color, flat planes, and symbols.

About Friday Nights at the De Young
Friday Nights at the de Young offers a variety of free interdisciplinary arts programs, including live music, poetry, films, dance, art activities and lectures in the public spaces of the museum.

Please note that admission to the museum’s galleries is not free on Friday nights, but instead all of the events listed above take place in the museum’s “free zone” right by the entrance and are free and open the public and do not require tickets.
