The Mare Island Halloween Block Party 2025

Head to Mare Island for a frightfully fun Halloween celebration starting at Vino Godfather Mansion and continuing along Walnut Avenue at Officers Row, where the historic Officers Row mansions are glowingly lit up and spookily decorated for Halloween.

This family-friendly event features trick-or-treating for kids, pumpkin decorating, face painting, and costume contests for families, kids, and pets (including a pawsitively exciting pet costume contest).

This Halloween celebration has thrills and chills for every ghoul and goblin in your family:

• Little monsters can dive into bone-chilling fun with trick-or-treating, creative pumpkin decorating, and magical face painting transformations.
• Four-legged friends are invited to the party! Our “Howl-o-ween” costume contest promises to be pawsitively exciting.
• Dance to our haunting playlist while savoring delectable bites from our lineup of food trucks, warming up with creamy hot chocolate, and enjoying a cauldron full of festive drinks.
• Show off your most creative costumes, bring your favorite humans (and pets!), and prepare for a monstrously memorable evening at this Halloween spectacular.

This ghoulishly good time awaits you!

Event timeline goes as follows:
4:00pm Pumpkin Painting, Trick or Treating, Dancing begins! Plus, Food Trucks, Beer, Wine, & More.
5:30pm Dog Costume Contest
6:00pm Kids Costume Contest
6:30pm Family Costume Contest
8:00pm The party is over!

Event Parking: Mare Island has ample parking; see map ABOVE and listed here are the key lots for you to use with our new LOT Z adjacent to the main entrance on Kansas and Walnut Ave. We have two entrances: Kansas & Walnut AND Railroad & 8th street at Alden Park.

• Walnut and Kansas at the Mare Island VA Clinic (201 Walnut Ave, Vallejo, CA 94592)
• LOT C – Nimitz Ave – between Kansas and 7th street (1050 Nimitz Ave, Vallejo, CA 94592)
• LOT D – Kansas and Railroad
• LOT E – Nimitz and 4th Street
• LOT H – Connolly and Railroad
