San José marks the 242nd year of the founding of El Pueblo de San José de Guadalupe. Celebrate and honor San José’s diverse Tamien, Spanish, and Mexican roots, with activities at the Peralta Adobe and tours of both the adobe and the Carmel and Thomas Fallon House.
Activities and program include creating a corn husk doll, making hand dipped candles, roping g a bull, learning about San Jose’s history, Fandango music and dance, and presentations by Californio families and Consul General of Mexico, Alejandro Maria Gabriela Bologna.
The celebration is free admission. If you wish to join the Peralta Adobe-Fallon House tours, tickets are $5 for those 13 years or older. Tickets for children 12 and under are free.
