Event Details

Join a benefit concert to support Parkinson’s Disease research featuring The Family Crest and The Secret Legion of Atropos — two local groups rocking out with classical instruments. (Warning: you may find yourself head-banging to cello music).

Pay-what-you-can and RSVP is required. Suggested donation is $10-20, but no one turned away for lack of funds.

The Family Crest is an orchestral indie collective based in San Francisco. Beginning as a collaborative recording project in 2008, the group evolved by 2010 into a six-piece band with over 250 ‘Extended Family Members’ who participate in recordings, live performances, and other media and art projects. The band aims to form an interactive community around a common musical platform, dissolving the barrier between artist and audience member.

The Secret Legion of Atropos is a mysterious local chamber group. Come check them out and find out for yourself what they’re about.
