Event Details

San Francisco’s only independent, farmer-operated non profit farmers market kicks off a new Friday market day on August 3, 2012, from 7am to 2pm at the United Nations Plaza in San Francisco’s Civic Center.

Each Friday year-round more than 40 local farmers will bring fresh-picked produce and a huge selection of local farm products straight from their farms to the center of San Francisco. The community is invited to a Friday Market Grand Opening ceremony at noon with remarks from Supervisor Jane Kim and community leaders working to make fresh produce more accessible in the Mid-Market and Tenderloin “food desert.”
