Hella Chenin is all about wine focusing on one grape only: Chenin Blanc
Our mission is to give Chenin Blanc the love it deserves. We’re here to spotlight the variety, get more people hyped on it, and give family-run wineries more exposure.
Hella Chenin is one-day festival at Hammerling Wines in Berkeley. We’re featuring ~100 Chenin Blancs from top Californian, South African, French, Australian, and Oregonian winemakers.
Hella Chenin isn’t just a one-time thing—it’s the start of something big. We’re building a community that’ll grow annually.
Proceeds Donated to CHIRLA (Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights)
Hella Chenin was founded by Peter Andrews of Culture Wine Co., Josh Hammerling of Hammerling Wines, and Marty Winters and Alex Pitts of Maitre de Chai.
