#HellaFunny Line Up

  • Stroy Moyd (OddBall Festival with Dave Chappelle) is a favorite at comedy clubs and campuses across the nation. He’s opened up for super stars such as Dave Chappelle at the OddBall Festival, Daniel Tosh, Sarah Silverman, and in the spring he’s going on tour with Tracy Morgan. He is the 3 time winner of the Hollywood Laugh Factory “Fresh Faces” comedy competition and performed at the SF Sketch Fest for 2 consecutive years. Not to mention he is the CEO of #HellaFunny. Follow him on Instagram @StroyMoyd for free admission!
  • Andrew Holmgren (SF Weeklys Best Comic To Watch for 2013) has appeared on stages across the country including SF Sketchfest, Santa Cruz Fringe Fest, The S.H.I.T.S. and Giggles comedy fest as well as the Sacramento Comedy Festival, where he earned best of fest honors. He is one of the main contributors to San Francisco comedy collective Sylvan Productions, running the popular monthly showcase ‘Get Yucked Up’.He’s got great hair and loves sweaters.
  • Dan Mires (Comedy Store, Punchline) – Growing up as the youngest of 4 boys all born within 5 years (his poor mother)…Dan has seen and done some unspeakable things that he likes to speak about in front of large groups of people. He is full of misguided advice and embarrassing tales. Hear about his wild college days at San Diego State University, his theories on women, his iPhone addiction, or play him at Words with Friends.
  • Alison Kawa grew up in the Midwest as the middle of five kids. She was classically trained as an aria and Broadway singer in high school, where she participated in a number of plays and musicals. She performs standup comedy regularly in venues around San Francisco. She also played Battle Woman in the Internet comedy series Neighborhood Watchmen, which follows superheroes in an office setting. Her real-life super powers include baking tasty scones and making realistic animal noises.

Plus special guests

Tony Sparks (Host) is a comedy veteran and has been running the longest comedy show in San Francisco at the Brainwash Cafe (every Thursday for the last 15 years). He is the host with the most. He and his show at the Brainwash has nurtured talent that has been seen on Comedy Central, Conan on TBS, Showtime, Netflix and the list goes on. This is why he is considered the GodFather of San Francisco Comedy.

#HellaFunny showcases some of San Francisco’s top local comedians who’ve opened for Tracy Morgan, Dave Chappelle; performed on Comedy Central; performed at Cobbs & Punchline; or can be heard on NPR radio. The creator of #HellaFunny, Stroy Moyd, has also experienced similar success as he has recently showcased on Comedy Central’s ‘Up Next’; performed at Cobb’s Comedy Club as well as the OddBall Comedy Festival with Dave Chappelle; he has opened for the national headliners Tracy Morgan, Daniel Tosh, Bill Burr, and Sarah Silverman.
