The City’s annual San Leandro Heritage Faire will be held at the San Leandro Main Library, located at 300 Estudillo Avenue in downtown San Leandro on Saturday, May 22nd , from 11 am to 3 pm to celebrate San Leandro’s diverse community and rich cultural heritage. Admission to the celebration is free and includes dazzling multi-ethnic entertainment and special fun for the kids.

The performing groups featured at this event will be the Piedmont Highlanders, Mosheh Milon and the Bantaba Dance and Drum Ensemble, the Latin Jazz Youth Ensemble, the Latvian Folk Dancers, the Tezkatipoka Aztec Dancers and the Red Bean Cantonese Opera. The Amazing Vijay, a magician, will delight children of all ages with his sleight-of-hand tricks.

Exciting children’s activities are planned throughout the day, including a “Dora the Explorer” jump house and free balloon animals, which will be given to children between 12 noon and 2 pm.
