Hike Entire West Coast of San Francisco | Lands End

The City is lucky enough to be surrounded by water on three sides. Take advantage of the maritime scenery by doing this admittedly arduous (sometimes you have to work to earn your “fun”) 10-mile hike on SF’s west coast.

Guide extraordinaire Alex Genadinik (he of the Presidio Beer Hike) leads the pack through the entire west coast of San Francisco starting at Lands End and ending at Fort Funston (west of Lake Merced) and possibly further South to Mussel Rock Park, depending on the feel of the day.

This will be a pretty tough hike, but the ocean should make the summer heat more bearable. Oh and the beauty of the unfolding landscape too.
