Popular urban hiking group, Hike It Up, returns for their 8th year anniversary in 2019 with their community favorite, Peaks and Pints hike. The 6 mile hike begins in Cole Valley on the corner of Parnassus and Willard Street, then it continues into Mt Sutro Forest (find the fairy gates).

Then the hike tackles its first peak by crossing Clarendon Avenue to Twin Peaks Reservoir toward the top of Twin Peaks Summit for an amazing view of the entire city. Heads up, it does get very windy at the peak. Carry on because this hike takes on two peaks.

The hike then heads downhill towards Tank Hill Park. Following that, they’ll head over to Golden Gate Park because the dahlias are in full bloom. Then, reward yourself for the impressive hike and have a beer or two at Social Brewery with your fellow hikers.
