Join us for an evening of Hindustani classical vocal music with Swati Jhaveri — a journey through ragas that span the breadth of human emotion, from the profound and contemplative to the tender and joyful.
The program moves through the classical tradition with intention and heart: from the weight of a full-throated khayal to the playful intimacy of a thumri, and culminating in an original composition that reflects Swati’s own voice within the lineage she carries.
Trained in the Indore and Mewati gharana traditions, Swati brings to the stage a rare ability to hold depth and warmth in equal measure.
She will be accompanied by Tushar Gupte on tabla and Satyam Bagwe on harmonium.
An evening of music in its most honest form.
