This talk considers sites as different as the fortifications of Cairo to the Guggenheim Museum in New York, and from the American Southwest to ancient sites in Turkey, examining new responses in preservation.

About the Speaker: Frank G. Matero

The professor of architecture and former chair of the graduate program in historic preservation at the School of Design at the University of Pennsylvania is also director and founder of the Architectural Conservation Laboratory and a research associate of the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology.
