History for Half Pints (the kid kind, not the drinking kind) is a monthly family day at the California Historical Society in San Francisco, featuring music, games and of course, history.

The family day takes place every second Saturday of the month and is free with an RSVP, or if you’re a CHS member.

Join us as we celebrate our next exhibition, Experiments in Environment: The Halprin Workshops 1966-1971, with a fun activity where we tie dye tote bags! Remember the 1960s with a great tie dye takeaway! As your tie dye tote dries, explore Museum of African Diapora’s (MoAD) wonderful exhibitions including: Who Among Us…The Art of Kenyatta A.C. Hinkle, Alison Saar: Bearing, Four Themes, Finding the I in Diaspora, and so much more!

All materials provided. RSVP required.

Our location: For this History for Half Pints will be at the wonderful Museum of African Diaspora (MoAD). When you come in, approach the front desk, and show your ticket. You will be guided up to our craft room.
