Event Details

The theme for this event is Vintage Valentines. Inspired by CHS collections they will be designing their own valentines inspired by their vintage ones. Use decorative paper, stickers, and vintage inspired images to make a crafty card for friends and family.

  • Share what you love about California and its history by adding to their “Love Ca” mural.
  • Meet the staff of the the Museum of Craft and Design. They will be on hand to help the young (and young at heart) decorate vases and make paper flowers.
  • Use stencils, vibrant hues, vintage typefaces, and motifs from the museum collection to create original cards or Valentines with Chelsea Herman. Chelsea is a visual artist, print maker, and the proprietor of Flightpath Press where she publishes limited edition, fine press artists’ books.

Free but an RSVP is required.
