Event Details

Did you know that a minor league team used to play right on Valencia Street?

On October 14th, 1930 the Mission Reds played their last Pacific Coast League ballgame directly across the street from our store at Recreation Park.

To commemorate the Mission Reds, Taylor Stitch  have teamed up with Ebbet’s Field Flannels to reproduce one of their old 1930’s style flannel ballcaps equipped with a shorter brim and released in two colorways. This is a super limited edition (only 30 of each caps).

They’re are also having a little complimentary afternoon barbecue with locally brewed beer and will be grilling up hot dogs starting at 1 PM and going until the goods run out.

Johnny Funcheap Says… This is a super small informal BBQ party meant to showcase these cool caps –  so if you’re interested in old-timey baseball and San Francisco history you should stop by. But if you’re just looking to freeload on hot dogs, you’re gonna be disappointed and this probably isn’t the right event for you.
