Hollister | Epic 4th of July Motorcycle and Music Street Festival | 2014

Hollister (about 15 miles south of Gilroy) is not only one of the best California Motorcycle Rallies, but also one of the most important rallies since it’s the birthplace of the “American Biker.”

The Hollister “incident” in 1947 inspired Marlon Brando’s The Wild One which cemented the “biker” image in the US.

See tons and tons of motorcycles parked all along San Benito Street, plus vintage rides, a custom bike show, manufacturer demo rides and about 50 bands on three stages.
