The San Francisco Elks Hoop Shoot basketball free-throw competition returns, taking place December 11th in the Glen Park Recreation Center. It’s a fun and free competition for kids aged 8-13, and the Elks sponsor the winners to go on to the District and National competitions. This event is free and you don’t need to be related to an Elks to compete. The goal of the Hoop Shoot is to teach kids the value of practice in working towards your goals.
The SF Elks Lodge is the oldest continuously operating Lodge in Elkdom. We are active in veterans’ and childrens’ charities throughout our community.
