Event Details

How-to Homestead brings the homestead spirit to Bayview Opera House in District 10.

Get ready to learn how to keep chickens in the city and share food with neighbors. We’ll also watch some fine homestead films and contra dance with the Knuckle Knockers and caller Mavis McGaugh.

Schedule of Events:

4 pm — Chickens in the City workshop, led by Paul Glowaski.
6 pm — Potluck, bring your favorite dish
7:30 pm — How-to Homestead films some with live musical accompaniment by the sk8 sisters.
8:30 pm — Contra Dance led by caller Mavis McGaugh and backed by the
Knuckle Knockers.

Suggested donation of $5 is requested. Free if you bring a dish for the potluck.
