Event Details

Celebrate the unveiling of artist Johanna Poethig’s public mural “Humming with Life,” with an official ribbon cutting ceremony and an indoor musical performance by various composers and musical artists, on Friday, August 26.

A 200-foot mural that wraps around the corner of Hyde and Golden Gate Streets in San Francisco’s Tenderloin/Civic Center neighborhood, this mural transforms a corner known to be a crossroad of drug-dealing, post office employees and students into a beautiful piece of community art for all to enjoy.
