Humphry Slocombe’s Original SF Store’s Final Day (Mission Dist.)

Thanks to Mission Local for sharing the unfortunate news that San Francisco’s quirky ice cream shop, Humphry Slocombe, is closing its original location in the Mission located at 2790 Harrison Street.

The ice cream shop opened in 2008 and is well known for its unusual flavors like its signature Secret Breakfast which features bourbon ice cream with corn flakes. The flagship location will be scooping its last ball of ice cream on October 30, 2024.

Thankfully, there are several other locations of Humphry Slocombe including in the SF Ferry Building, SF’s Dogpatch neighborhood, Oakland, Redwood City, Emeryville, Campbell, San Mateo, and its newest shop in Concord.

In 2008, we opened our first shop in the Mission District of San Francisco with the dream of making adventurous and fun ice cream with the best local ingredients. Since then we have opened 9 more scoop shops across the Bay and continued on our mission of delivering chef-driven ice cream to our guests.

Throughout COVID, we were able to keep all of our shops open thanks to the loyalty and support of all of you. We were especially proud of keeping our original shop at the Mission open to continue to serve our first neighborhood. However, all things must come to an end.

We will be closing our Mission shop at the end of October. Our last day of business will be 10/30/24. If you have any questions, please reach out to info@humphryslocombe.com.
