Event Details

Elon Musk, in 2012, designed a train system called “Hyperloop” for superfast travel between large hubs and made his design open to the public. Their speakers, rLoop, is an international company which already started to build the Hyperloop and presented it to Elon Musk.

Fine print disclaimer:

  • Elon Musk will not be in attendence.
  • Demo is of the levitation on the small model, about the size of the table, not of the actual Hyperloop tube.

rLoop is a globally distributed, open source, and crowdsourced Hyperloop company. Their Hyperloop designs have won multiple awards from SpaceX, Dubai Future Foundations, and more. Their unique organization facilitates the collaboration of global talent and resources on centralized opportunities, made possible by embracing modern collaboration tools and pioneering processes in collaborative virtual design and remote manufacturing.

7:30 pm – doors open
8:00 pm – Talk Starts (Thomas Lambot, Lead Engineer, live)
8:30 pm – Live Levitation Demo of a reduced model
