The clock is ticking on ICONS UNCOVERED, the must-see photo exhibit featuring never-before-seen images by legendary punk and glam rock documentarian Leee Black Childers. This rare collection, on view at the Punk Majesty Showroom until Saturday, July 12, when it all culminates in a not-to-be-missed closing night party!
Shot by insider and scene documentarian Leee Black Childers, this collection reveals rare, behind-the-scenes images of icons like Iggy Pop, David Bowie, Debbie Harry, Lou Reed, Billy Idol, Siouxsie, Johnny Thunders, and the Sex Pistols—moments that have never been publicly shown until now.
Childers wasn’t just behind the camera—he was on the road and in the rooms with the artists, tour-managing Bowie, Iggy, and Johnny Thunders while capturing history as it happened.
Curated in collaboration with the Leee Black Childers Estate, this is the only place in the U.S. to view and purchase authenticated prints from this collection—offering a rare chance to own a piece of rock history.
Housed in the Punk Majesty Fashion & Art Showroom, this eclectic, punk-meets-high-fashion space also features upcycled fashion, curated vintage, bold art, and streetwear.
Also on view — a group mixed-media show with local artists, amplifying Punk Majesty’s commitment to San Francisco’s creative community. Five rooms of art & fashion!
