Punk Majesty Unveils New Leee Black Childers Exhibit: “ICONS UNCOVERED”
Never-Before-Seen Photographs of Punk & Rock Legends Debut in San Francisco May 10
San Francisco, CA — Following the smash success of its debut Leee Black Childers exhibit, Punk Majesty proudly presents ICONS UNCOVERED—a brand new show featuring never-before-seen photographs by the legendary rock ‘n’ roll photographer. This exclusive exhibit opens Saturday, May 10, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Punk Majesty Showroom, with ongoing viewing available by appointment seven days a week.
Curated in collaboration with the Estate of Leee Black Childers, this collection includes rare, never-before-exhibited images of Iggy Pop, David Bowie, the New York Dolls, Johnny Thunders and the Heartbreakers, Billy Idol, the Sex Pistols, Debbie Harry, Lou Reed, and more—each one a raw, intimate moment frozen in time by one of punk and glam’s most essential documentarians.
In 2025, the Estate of Leee Black Childers officially named Punk Majesty the exclusive U.S. representative of the late photographer’s archive. Punk Majesty remains the only destination in the United States to view and purchase authenticated prints directly from the Estate—offering collectors and fans a rare opportunity to own a piece of rock history.
The exhibit takes place inside the Punk Majesty Showroom, a punk-meets-high-fashion concept space that serves as the physical home of the Punk Majesty clothing brand—an independent, eco-conscious line known for its one-of-a-kind upcycled designs, empowering statements, and punk-inspired streetwear. The showroom is also a curated gallery space featuring original photography, vintage fashion, art, upcycled statement furniture, and design from groundbreaking artists including Leee Black Childers, Ruby Ray, and Mick Rock.
“This work deserves to be seen up close—not just because of who’s in the frame, but because of the raw feeling it captures,” said Alisha Amnesia, designer and founder of Punk Majesty. “It’s everything we stand for—rebellion, style, legacy, and truth. We’re proud to give it the spotlight it deserves.”
